Immunohistochemical (IHC) analysis of CAIX expression in homozygous B-hCAIX mice. The stomach, liver, colon, kidney, pancreas, lung, spleen and heart were collected from C57BL/6 mice (+/+) (female, 5-week-old, n=2) and homozygous B-hCAIX mice (H/H) (female, 5-week-old, n=2) and analyzed by IHC with anti-human CAIX antibody (abcam, ab184006). Human CAIX was exclusively detectable in homozygous B-hCAIX mice (H/H) but not in C57BL/6 mice (+/+). The arrow indicates tissue cells with positive CAIX staining. “+” indicates that the tissue is positive, and “-” indicates that the tissue is negative. “unknown" indicates that it cannot be determined in this experiment.

Strain specific CAIX expression analysis in wild-type C57BL/6JNifdc mice and homozygous humanized B-hCAIX mice by ELISA. Plasma was collected from wild-type C57BL/6JNifdc mice (+/+) (Female, n=3, 7-week-old) and homozygous B-hCAIX mice (H/H) (Female, n=3, 7-week-old). Expression level of human CAIX were analyzed by ELISA (RD, DCA900). Human CAIX was exclusively detectable in homozygous B-hCAIX mice. Values are expressed as mean ± SEM.
