Strain specific analysis of CCN1 gene expression in wild-type C57BL/6 mice and B-hCCN1 mice by RT-PCR. Mouse Ccn1 mRNA was detectable in lung of wild-type C57BL/6 mice (+/+). Human CCN1 mRNA was detectable only in homozygous B-hCCN1 mice but not in wild-type mice.
Strain specific CCN1 expression analysis in homozygous B-hCCN1 mice by western blot. Spleen tissue was collected from wild-type C57BL/6 mice (+/+) and homozygous B-hCCN1 mice (H/H), and analyzed by western blot with anti-CCN1 antibody. Mouse CCN1 was detectable in wild type mice and homozygous B-hCCN1 mice, as the antibody is cross-reactive between human and mouse.
