Strain specific analysis of CCN4 gene expression in wild-type C57BL/6 mice and B-hCCN4 mice by RT-PCR. Mouse Ccn4 mRNA was detectable in ovary of wild-type C57BL/6 mice (+/+). Human CCN4 mRNA was detectable only in homozygous B-hCCN4 mice (H/H) but not in wild-type mice.
Strain specific CCN4 expression analysis in homozygous B-hCCN4 mice by Western blot. Kidney and spleen tissue were collected from wild-type C57BL/6 mice (+/+) and homozygous B-hCCN4 mice (H/H), and analyzed by western blot with anti-CCN4 antibody. CCN4 was detectable in wild type mice and homozygous B-hCCN4 mice, as the antibody is crossly reactive with CCN4 in human and mice.
