Gene targeting strategy for B-hCXCL1 mice. The exons 1-4 of mouse Cxcl1 gene that encode the full-length protein were replaced by human CXCL1 exons 1-4 in B-hCXCL1 mice.
Strain specific CXCL1 expression analysis in homozygous B-hCXCL1 mice by ELISA. Serum were collected from wild-type mice (+/+) and homozygous B-hCXCL1 mice (H/H) stimulated with 20 μg/200 μL LPS in vivo, and analyzed by ELISA with species-specific CXCL1 ELISA kit. Mouse CXCL1 was only detectable in wild-type mice. Human CXCL1 was exclusively detectable in homozygous B-hCXCL1 mice but not in wild-type mice.
