Gene targeting strategy for B-hIL17RA mice. The exons 2-9 of mouse Il17ra gene that encode the extracellular domain were replaced by human IL17RA exons 2-9 in B-hIL17RA mice.
Strain specific IL17RA expression analysis in heterozygous B-hIL17RA mice by flow cytometry. Bone marrow were collected from WT and heterozygous B-hIL17RA (H/+) mice, and analyzed by flow cytometry with species-specific anti-IL17RA antibody. Mouse IL17RA was detectable in WT and heterozygous B-hIL17RA mice. Human IL17RA was exclusively detectable in heterozygous B-hIL17RA but not in WT mice.
