Strain specific analysis of KAAG1 mRNA expression in wild-type C57BL/6N mice and B-hKAAG1 mice by RT-PCR. Kidney and testis RNA were isolated from wild-type C57BL/6N mice (+/+) and homozygous B-hKAAG1 mice (H/H), and then cDNA libraries were synthesized by reverse transcription, followed by PCR with two human KAAG1 primers. As control, a group without reverse enzyme was also set. Human KAAG1 mRNA was detectable in homozygous B-hKAAG1 mice but not in wild-type mice and was confirmed via Sanger sequencing.
