Strain specific analysis of MADCAM1 gene expression in wild-type C57BL/6 mice and B-hMADCAM1 mice by RT-PCR. Mouse Madcam1 mRNA was detectable only in splenocytes of wild-type C57BL/6 mice (+/+). Human MADCAM1 mRNA was detectable only in homozygous B-hMADCAM1 mice (H/H), but not in wild-type mice.
Strain specific MADCAM1 expression analysis in homozygous B-hMADCAM1 mice by Immunohistochemistry (IHC). Mouse MADCAM1 was detectable in vascular endothelial cell of colon, small intestine and embryonic tissue in wild-type C57BL/6 mice (+/+). Human MADCAM1 was exclusively detectable in vascular endothelial cell of colon, small intestine and embryonic tissue of B-hMADCAM1 mice (H/H), but not in wild-type mice.
