Gene targeting strategy for B-hTLT2 mice. The exons 1-4 of mouse Tlt2 gene that encode the extracellular domain were replaced by human TLT2 exons 1-4 in B-hTLT2 mice.
Strain specific TLT2 expression analysis in homozygous B-hTLT2 mice by flow cytometry. Splenocytes were collected from wild-type C57BL/6 mice (+/+) and homozygous B-hTLT2 mice (H/H), and analyzed by flow cytometry with species-specific anti-TLT2 antibody. mTLT2 was detectable in T cells (A), B cells (B) and not detectable in dendritic cells (C) of wild-type. hTLT2 was detectable in T cells (A), B cells (B) and not detectable in dendritic cells (C) of homozygous B-hTLT2 mice while hTLT2 was not detectable in wild-type.
