Gene targeting strategy. The EGFP gene coding sequence was inserted into the exon 2 of the mouse Upar in B-Upar-EGFP mice, so the mouse Upar transcript was disrupted.
Upar and EGFP expression analysis in homozygous B-Upar-EGFP mice by flow cytometry. Lung were collected from wild-type mice (+/+) and homozygous B-Upar-EGFP mice (△/△), and analyzed by flow cytometry with anti-mouse Upar antibody. Mouse Upar was detectable in wild-type mice but not in B-Upar-EGFP mice. EGFP was exclusively detectable in homozygous B-Upar-EGFP mice but not in wild-type mice.
