Strain specific analysis of CCL3 gene expression in wild-type C57BL/6 mice and B-hCCL3 mice by RT-PCR. Mouse Ccl3 mRNA was detectable in splenocytes of wild-type C57BL/6 mice (+/+). Human CCL3 mRNA was detectable only in homozygous B-hCCL3 mice (H/H) but not in wild-type mice.
Strain specific CCL3 expression analysis in homozygous B-hCCL3 mice by ELISA. Bone marrow-derived macrophages(BMDM) were isolated from wild-type C57BL/6 mice (+/+) and homozygous B-hCCL3 mice (H/H) and stimulated with 10 ng/mL LPS in vitro. Then cell culture supernatants were analyzed by ELISA with species-specific CCL3 ELISA kit. Mouse CCL3 was detectable in wild-type mice. Human CCL3 was exclusively detectable in homozygous B-hCCL3 mice but not in wild-type mice.
