      Gene targeting strategy. The full coding region sequences of mouse Cd133 gene was replaced by human CD133 counterpart gene sequences in B-hCD133 mice.

      Protein expression analysis

      CD133 expression analysis in homozygous B-hCD133 mice by flow cytometry. Bone marrow hematopoietic stem cell (Lin-/lowmSca1+mCD117+) were collected from wild-type mice (+/+) and homozygous B-hCD133 mice (H/H), and analyzed by flow cytometry with species-specific anti-CD133 antibody. Human CD133 was detectable in homozygous B-hCD133 mice.
