Gene targeting strategy for B-hCXCL3 mice. The exons 1~4 of mouse Cxcl1 gene that encode the full-length protein were replaced by human CXCL3 exons 1~4 in B-hCXCL3 mice.
Strain specific CXCL3 expression analysis in homozygous B-hCXCL3 mice by ELISA. Serum were collected from wild-type C57BL/6 mice (+/+) and homozygous B-hCXCL3 mice (H/H) stimulated with LPS in vivo, (20 μg/mice, stimulation for 4 hours, i.p.), and analyzed by ELISA with species-specific mCXCL1 and hCXCL3 ELISA kit. Mouse CXCL1 was detectable in wild-type mice (A). Human CXCL3 was exclusively detectable in homozygous B-hCXCL3 mice but not in wild-type mice (B).
