Gene targeting strategy for B-hFSHR mice. The exon 2 of mouse Fshr gene that encodes the full-length protein was replaced by human FSHR exon 2 in B-hFSHR mice.
Strain specific FSHR expression analysis in homozygous B-hFSHR mice by western blot. Ovary, testis were collected from wild-type C57BL/6 mice (+/+) and homozygous B-hFSHR mice (H/H), and analyzed by western blot with anti-FSHR antibody. FSHR was detectable in wild type mice and homozygous B-hFSHR mice, as the antibody is crossly reactive with FSHR in human and mice. FSHR was not detectable in FSHR KO mice (-/-).
