Western blot analysis of SULF-2 protein expression in heterozygous B-hSULF-2 mice. Various tissue lysates were collected from wild-type C57BL/6 mice (+/+) and homozygous B-hSULF-2 mice (H/H), and then analyzed by western blot with anti-SULF-2 antibody(Novus, NBP1-36727). 40 μg total proteins were loaded for western blotting analysis. m/hSULF-2 were obviously detected in heart, brain and colon.
Strain specific analysis of SULF-2 mRNA expression in wild-type C57BL/6 mice and B-hSULF-2 mice by RT-PCR. Brain RNA were isolated from wild-type C57BL/6 mice (+/+) and homozygous B-hSULF-2 mice (H/H), then cDNA libraries were synthesized by reverse transcription, followed by PCR with mouse or human SULF-2 primers. Mouse Sulf-2 mRNA were detectable in wild-type C57BL/6 mice. Human SULF-2 mRNA was detectable only in homozygous B-hSULF-2 mice but not in wild-type mice.
